For majority of the show's run I just saw Chalia as a "sexy dapper ossan" and nothing more (not that there's a problem with that I like the eyecandy) and I'm glad he's firmly settled into the role of a proper mentor for Machu and Newtypes in general. For a show all about adults forever being trapped in the past and manipulating the youth as a result it's nice to have Challia be the one who actually has at least Machu's best interests at heart. For now. I guess. Who the fuck knows the bullshit that'll go down in the finale.

Truthfully though my enjoyment tanked once we left the space colony. I'm not even that big of a Gundam fan. I was just here for Tsurumaki and Enokido and the neat urban scifi setting. Not my first Gundam show but after this it definitely feels like my last. Ah well.
