It's overhated but some of the Chaotix missions are tedious and Team Rose, Sonic, and Dark basically being Easy, Normal, and Hard respectively really makes going for the true final boss a chore. Special stages are also jank central but I had the Gamecube version and I don't know if that rubber banding glitch is in all of them.
It's pretty fun though, way better than Shadow the Game.
