I've been "shilling" my character just by posting pictures of her from my old ass folder of Pinkie pics haha, but yeah like you said I don't really think Pinkie needs much introduction so I don't bother trying to full on sell people on her. I just have fun and post pictures of the funny pink pony and hope it lightens the mood, basically what you said about trying to counterbalance the vitriol.
But yeah I do agree that some anons have been taking it too seriously. Honestly it could just be my optimism and me wanting to make the most of things, but the idea of "strategic voting" just sounds like it could make for a fun story or set-up especially if Minuette ends up winning. If the narrative is real, then that means an unsuspecting background pony ended up taking the crown due to being boosted out of the idea she wouldn't be a threat later. It's a really fun idea.
All being said, I'm still team Ponk to the end, though. Been rooting for her since the very beginning.

Oh for sure, back in 2012 and 2013, which were extremely warm and camaraderie-full eras, there were an absolute ton of anons still ripping each other to pieces and fighting over stupid shit. Learning to shrug it off and just have fun and focus on the magic of friendship that everyone else had to offer was just a lesson /mlp/ had to teach ya. Honestly on some level I kind of love it. Everyone here is based.
