OPA irritates me anytime I think about it because it's got the best animated and most expressive models of any OP game, it's roster is shaping up to be huge with characters not a lot of OP games have like Momonga and Gaimon, it's attempting to tell the entire story, including the cover stories, and most importantly each character feels different - like what you'd expect them to play like in a game...But it's a shitty beat-em-up.

And the salt in the wound is the fact that literally all the pieces are there for a competent arena fighter. It isn't like FighterZ where everything falls apart when you put it in 3D, the game has a 3D battle they only used once. And their recent game, the Hidden Ones, shows they CAN do an arena fighter with dodging and jumping and weighty combos and tricky blows.
