Why do you need to know and interact with everyone though?
Isn't it a good thing a community is massive so there is a higher chance of finding a small section of it to your exact specs?
The japanese community is massive and is great for it.
I've always envisioned FBF to be for this junction of time. I can't become friends/deep friends with everyone but I can help everyone else potentially find theirs.
Events are there to keep a big community cohesive. A town, a city, a country.
Our weekly meets and the close friends you have found and cultivated here in this thread is your core. But being able to share the same space with groups of people who found their close friends here is something special I think.
It's impossible to keep up with everyone by physical laws and time. But to find the core group of friends who you can truly be yourself in and have fun with is what is important.
And each of our core group of friends become our anchor/harbor to then explore the other parts of /vrg/ knowing there is always a comfy port to come back to.
tl;dr find your core group of friends and have fun with them. Everyone in /vrg/ will root for your happiness likewise in this little corner of the internet we call home.
