Agree but not all things are possible that way. As an extreme example, you can't have a real electricity market as there's joint infrastructure that's being depended upon. Just imagine a mess with many more stations, pylons and cable routes. You know one of problems with cars is amount of government rules that you must obey to be able to play, it's very hard to push past barrier of entry in terms of upfront cost without having some massive force backing you up.
