But you can find similar sentiments in the Old Testament. The entire book of Joshua is just the Israelites committing one giant ethnic cleansing campaign. God literally gives them the green light to just indiscriminately slaughter whole cities, including women and children.

But Christian antisemites (and theologically conservative Christians in general) have to contort themselves and employ their own brand of Talmudry by saying it was “based” because the Canaanites worshipped demons and or something. This is a pretty weak cope, all it amounts to is “but our God is the correct one. We’re special.” How is this any different from the ethno/religious narcissism they see in Jews?
