Maybe in an arc or two. For now, Yoshida is just Asa's ally. He made a plan with her and Yoru to weaponize SCATji, and they're fighting alongside each-other as allies, but the love needs to grow with bonding and time.

Yeah. Had Yoshida not helped, Denji would have just continued eating people or succumbed to Aging's demands. Notice how the only reason Denji came out as a hero in Falling arc was because 4 different people had to carry his ass: Yoshida (mysterious student's hand feeding blood), Fakesaw man, Asa and Nayuta. Bu when Falling appeared this arc, he just jobbed instantly because there was no Yoshida to feed him blood and no Nayuta to save him. Same will happen again with the child murder plot, with no one to help him save the day, and with the temptation of sex, he'll simply kill women, children, elderly, you name it. He's literally a fake hero carried by others.

If your little fanfic were true, there would be no need for gaslighting and trickery. He could just ask Asa to do it with him right there and then. But he didn't for simple reasons, he knows Asa would say no and even try to kill him again.
