Don't listen to the guys who say it's easy. If you don't already find it easy, you won't, and you're setting yourself up for failure. Guys who've had institutional and social support for their fitness are different from those of us who have to claw every molecule of gain. You'll face slow gains while they pack it on like crazy. You'll sit staring at a half full plate while they complain about not being able to stop eating. You'll be nursing injuries from a slightly bad bent-over row while they deadlift and power clean twice their bodyweight with atrocious form.
