Warzone 2100 is alive and well with both an active community and continuous development, However you will find out that the most "active" and vocal players on the online scene are shithead exclusionary eastern europeans who think that they know the game better than anyone despite only playing 5vs5 "NTW" games which basically strips out a huge chunk of the game's depth.

These fucking faggots try and bully anyone (including the devs) out of the community who don't think the way they play the game should dictate the games development or who even simply disagree with them on the state of the game by calling them casuals or non-players and then continuously harassing them on the official WZ discord and their own WZ discord. Even going so far as to threaten to pull the plug on the (then recently added and then only) autohost system that made games for players who can't host games themselves without reliance on another player if they didn't get their way on wrestling control over the games development into their hands.

A great game, It's too bad that the multiplayer "community" is dominated by eastern europeans...
