The diaspora is not real and Josephus exaggerates the impact of the first Jewish war to such a ridiculous extreme it's insane that people still parrot the idea. Same goes for Hadrian's romanization of the province. The majority of Jews stayed put and eventually converted to Christianity/Islam over the centuries, meaning the Palestinians are more than likely the descendents of the original Jews of the bible. The typical modern Israeli as we known them today is the descendent of European converts who have no blood ties to the land, whose ancestors lived in modern day Germany, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, etc. It's a successful colonization scheme by a bunch of European converts playing pretend. You can defend the actions of Israel or decry them, but you can't seriously tell me that there's an unbroken genetic line between the average Jewish person who moved from Brooklyn NY to Tel Aviv in the 70s and the people of Solomon and David. Or that atheist zionists like Theodore Herzl who used cynically biblical imagery to justify their nation-building and trick retarded Evangelicals into supporting them have anything in common with Bar Kochba. It's ludicrously stupid. It would be like me as an Amerifat claiming to have Native American ancestry and dressing up like an Apache.
