I'm starting to feel the idea of splitting video game discussion into multiple boards is fucking retarded. Why does there even need to be an arbitrary limit on how many threads are on a page? Why can't we just have people talk about any game whenever? It doesn't make any fucking sense. It's like they want /v/ to be the new /b/.
At the end of the day you have to remember jannies and the mods are just people, and most people are incompetent when put into positions with even a modicum of power. But what show are they trying to run here? What do they want, ad revenue? Do they just want to farm off topic coomer threads so they can goon to? But we already have a board for that. Is it because it's dead?
If you're going to force all video game discussion to /vg/, then just delete /v/. Delete the other pointless video game boards while you're at it because they're dead and don't even serve their purpose. That's all you can do, add useless boards that there's no point in using and say "generals also aren't allowed here either!" It's like this entire architecture exists to make people annoyed. There's no sense to it. Which fucking idiot thought this was a good idea?
