Yes Hindus are polytheists they are unlike many other people or religions because they worship many gods instead of one. I have tried reading the vedas and they pray to many gods for simple things such as water food and war they also believe in spells/charms… there was a verse where it talks about a fiend who smears himself with horse cattle and human flesh.. very disturbing.
