One thing that always confuses me about progressive taxes, wouldnt the rich paying a disproportionate amount of tax just incentivise the government to create a greater wealth inequality since 1 poorfag+1 richfag nets more money than 2 midfags? Also since they pay far more tax, will the government not be more inclined to hear them out and work with them too (other than on cutting their taxes)?
