Thats really not enough though, the reason why most postal systems stopped is because they are being asked to do the job that the U.S. CBP should be doing, which is actually checking the origin, calculating those taxes and charging accordingly, instead and for whatever reason, the US wants for each courier/postal system to charge the customer and submit that to the CBP when the packages arrive. And most are not ready to do that on a per person level.

Its probably just a shitty play to show that the courier/sender is actually paying for the tariffs but it should be obvious those tariffs will me paid by the final customer.
