What do people even use it for? It seems pretty useless for anything but the most menial of tasks. And even those tasks I can see being more appropriate for some people to just do by hand.
Asking AI to do code is a fucking disaster since the time spent correcting it is longer than the time spent doing it yourself and people become less familiar with the project. Asking AI to fill out spreadsheets is prone to errors. Asking AI to make stories or art is laughable and insane. Asking AI basic questions is for people who don't know how to use a search engine and fuck you'll probably get wrong answers anyways.
So what exactly is AI meant to be for?
