Pasta really sucks for weight loss. Its not filling at all for how dense it is with calories making it super easy to overeat, and its pretty much just pure carbs, usually with minimal fiber and other nutrients. Even the whole grain pasta sucks. You can try to make it work by like having a tiny portion of it but even then its like are you really going to be satisfied with a forkful of spaghetti? Because if you want Pasta to fit in your macros one twirl of the fork is basically your serving size.
