>>neutered shield
It fixed shields, that actually raise on frame 1 and have enemies that bounce them
>>neutered armor
It fixed armor, that provides actual damage reduction and poise that works
>>removed midroll
Good
>>heavy roll unviable
Completely false, heavy roll is extremely viable in Dark Souls 3, unlike Dark Souls 2. You can actually use heavy roll to rrposition or dodge short reach grabs because it has the iframes for it, making >70% equip load a viable playstyle
>>magic is actual ass damage wise
Wrong, it's actually really strong provided you are good at using it, with magic being also able to stun enemies more reliably and having greater alpha strike potential with active buffs
>>mages can't even stay ranged cause >everything has a gap closer
Skill issue
>>pivoting on every enemy, so positioning is not viable
Projection, positioning is very viable in Dark Souls 3, while original dark Souls 2 had busted tracking
>>literally created rollslop
Meme from shitters
>>new special attacks do less damage than R1
Wrong

>>powerstance
Powerstance was an awful mechanic that was always worse than 2 handing. Duel wielding was actually worth it in DS3
>>poise
Poise in Dark Souls 2 is nonexistant and even the most simple enemy will stagger and outdamage you. Dark Souls 3 makes poise matter
>>hexes
Dark Souls 3 rightfully split hexes into 3 categories to allow each caster type to get access to dark damage of some different form, but INT/FTH casters could cast them all with their dedicated dual scaling catalysts slightly more efficiently. It removed nothing from INT/FTH but opened up more options for everyone. People who hate this are retards that dont understand INT/FTH is now more flavourful and intended to wield multiple catalysts and Elden Ring doubled down by making INT/FTH a dedicated caster build only.
>>spell casts (fp sucks in ds3)
Nope, spell casts actually suck. With FPs you can take any kind of spell and pay what you actually use. Long gone are the times where taking Hidden Body meant sacrificing your ability to cast more Soul Spears, meaning you felt cucked for taking possible niche options. With FP there's a common resource shared by all builds that all builds will choose the level of investing to give into
>>armour upgrading
Wasting titanite on an armor you might or might not change depending on equip load was awful and raising flat damage reduction always meant that it was pointless against bosses. Even with Iron Flesh and heavy armor bosses in Dark Souls 2 could 2 shot you.
>>boss weapons being viable and not joke weapons
Some of the strongest weapons in Dark Souls 3 are boss weapons
