Pop both of these right before you scarab

Pop Arcane surge to increase the scarab duration

The closer
>rapid recharge
>superior duration
>magic carpet
>divine kevlar

Rapid recharge gives us more scarabs for the end game teamfights. Divine kev and magic carpet are both bought for duration. At this stage your scarabs last as long as your cooldown

For those who dont know scarabs are best when each are used against a different target. Hitting the same target only refreshes the duration but hitting different targets means the hp you receive is stacking. In a theoretical 6 man scarab scenario on this build you steal 4500 hp
