Late elementary school i think when we were playing tag and I was chasing this girl i had a crush on and she told me not to touch her because im ugly
But desu in middle and high school your day is pretty regimented, you just go class to class and find some other loser to hang out with during lunch time and you can avoid the cool kids and forget people are having sex (or kissing or whatever) and relationships, then after school avoid any extra activities and just get back home to the computer asap

College was when it really hit me at parties where i was pic related, when guys and girls started pairing up and finding little corners to vibe in, thats when i saw what actual flirting looks like and how girls behave around attractive guys . And if there arent any other betas to talk to all you can is keep making yourself drinks to look busy and numb the pain
