For reference, pic related is a "50/50" tire, meaning its half made for street and half for off road, even these are some aggressive tread for roads.
Motorcycles are extremely dependant on our contact patches/tires, even more than cars, because we have half as many wheels, and when you lose grip on a bike, its not a little happy accidental "skrrrt", its you falling down on your ass sliding around on the ground and breaking your levers usually.
