I can believe all that. I was definitely too young to really notice those issues. I just saw a similar structure to Most Wanted with added mountain drifting and enjoyed it. That said I immediately lost all interest in the series after my first race in Pro Street. Sim racers have their place but that is not why I liked Need For Speed.
