Kinda hard to know since this is not Larian's BG3 or Ubisoft's SW Outlaws when you know the devs where super happy about making a product with a traditional consumer base that is clearly white, heterosexual, and male for a non-straigth, non-white, non-males audience instead. Concord was an original IP... at best they felt they will receive endless praise from 'critics' and minorities. Plus, the dozens of blogposts and articles ready with "In Concord I was finally able to play with a character that I identify with."
