Women have a sort of hyper insecurity where they instantly covet what other women have. It's supposed to drive them to sabotage other women but because we have plastic surgery the idea of "transforming" is just as good so they do it to themselves.
It's like how the straight haired women get curly hair in the belief that it makes them more attractive while curly haired girls straighten it.
It's all very ironic considering men are picked apart for their appearance way more than women; but I think the reality is in the wild, free of civilization, while women still ultimately pick they've always depended on being attractive to get attention (and thus resources) and deeply fear being the reject in any situation.
