Yeah, but that's not a fair matchup because Cirno is obviously the embodiment of the new Ame no Iwata, as Amaterasu did not want to remain on the moon, especially after Tsukuyomi shat on her chair, and thus fled to the last place they'd look, that being a fairy, the creature they loathe most.
She deliberately chose an ice fairy in opposition to her own nature, and as ice is transparent, it also meant her own power would still shine through, preventing the world from being cast into chaos through the disappearance of the sun, as opposed to say, a darkness fairy.
Naturally, such a fairy would grow to become very strong due to its constant struggle to contain such a powerful goddess, while its temperament would become bright and energetic, unusual for its kind.
Of course, while generally stable, this could become a threat if say, a perverted old man would draw out hidden power from such a fairy, which would expose the noble goddess' power and twist the fairy into becoming summer and sun aligned, which its body couldn't handle as it's inherently contradictory to its nature, but what are the odds of that happening?
So anyway, Yorihime could never win because she could never go up against the highest god of her pantheon, and would be forced to kneel and admit her inferiority and lack of adorability.
