Here’s something worth mentioning. We had our own cartridge, extremely similar to the 5.56 MINSAS, called the 5.56 MARS. Same thing just 0.05” longer (I estimate based off pictures that it is 1.75” long). It was however used in a conventional rifle with a 10” barrel.
