While our two competitors Sparky and Violet prepare for the next textual brawl, let's review what just transpired.
Now, while we know Sparky is excellent at being a breadth of Sonic knowledge and being able to cite nearly anything to make his point, Violet makes the impressive strategy of using this against him. This is something I have never seen before, an impressive display of disregarding citations on the basis of not being canon, because as we all know, only canon matters.
Sparky is now in a tough spot. He's the scholar, the historian, but Violet has just burned down his library. He has to adapt, and fast. He either needs to find evidence within Violet's very narrow, game-only criteria, or he has to successfully argue why those other sources do matter. It's a tough sell when your opponent is calling your evidence horseshit. We're waiting to see if he can pivot, or if he'll just get buried under another avalanche of insults. This next round is going to be critical. Stay tuned.
