There's no point in trying to understand it. The first mistake is even calling it "mentality". Being stupid, never thinking about consequences of your actions and only behaving for the multiplication of your own kind is not some "mentality" that needs to be studies and understood. We just need to save civilization from these people and their behaviour or in extreme case fight against them if they become a threat. Quality > quantity.
