It's obvious when you think about it, Yoshida is Asa/Yoru's switch. They divided roles, as one should in war. That's why Shi-chan and Fami reacted to Yoshida, for them he's Yoru's soldier and they felt the battle started with him aproaching the school. Feel free to offer a better explanation.
