START:
There are 4 suspects: Anon 1, Anon 2, Anon 3, and Anon 4.
They were present at the catbox gallery when some images were stolen.
The security cameras malfunctioned, but a hidden microphone captured a bit of conversation just before the theft.
Your task is to figure out which of the four is the thief, based on their alibis and the clues.
>Clues:
-Anon 1: "I was admiring the buff vedal sculpture on the other side of the catbox. I couldn't have been near the image."
-Anon 2: "I was talking to Anon 3 about the new twin shipping art. We were nowhere near the stolen painting."
-Anon 3: "Anon 4 was standing right next to me, spouting something completely retarded. Neither of us would ever steal; we're too retarded."
-Anon 4: "I saw Anon 1 by the snack bar just before the incident. They seem like a good suspect to me."
>Detective report
-Only one person is lying. The other three are telling the truth.
-The person who is lying is the thief.
-The conversation snippet proved that Anon 2 and Anon 3 were indeed together, but not what they were talking about.
-The gallery's floor plan shows that the snack bar and the sculpture are at opposite ends of the gallery from the stolen painting.
