Additionally, sometimes the available AI models aren't powerful enough. Vedal sat on the WWTBAM integration for 8 months because it took that long to make Neuro smart enough. Maybe we'll have a similar issue with the drones and the other robots.
Ellie is starting new projects without considering that they might be in limbo for half a year due to Vedal's backlog. If she is really doing it purely for the fun, then fair enough. However, I imagine some part does want to see it on stream and will be disappointed by the delays.

On a related note, I'm not as excited about the robot projects anymore because you just know the creatively-bankrupt, lazy and justifiably-opsec-crazy Vedal will make 1 (one) stream with them and then leave it in a box. Many of projects Vedal will not have as much of a problem doing his side because of the nature of it. A lot of these are one and done excursions which is more easily to program and work with the understanding of it having a specific purpose. The Neruodog was always in a unfortunate placement of not having a clear purpose around content. It's why the Neurodog was always going to be longer project when comes to his end of deal as well. The fact he is also is in a werid position when it comes to IRL streaming doesn't help. I do think if Ellie actually decides to go to UK grad school it might shift the chances of how it happens but we would have to see. I been more hopeful that this would lead down a more YouTube center direction but that's just a dream. Vedal seems to at least enjoy the fact he gets to do it in some ways. I share lot of your feelings when it comes down to it but I'm staying a bit optimistic regardless I guess

I suppose it would be easier due to the abstractions Ellie has provided but I think you still might be understating the difficulty. Each physical form factor requires it's own vision training dataset and perhaps even a different AI approach. For example, the Neuroghini needs to be a lot more aware of momentum than Neurodog. This takes time. But I guess Vedal could partially offload it.
