So you've jammed the airspace enough to cook popcorn and the enemy sends the fiber optic FPVs at you.
COULD you use your laser weapon to periodically sweep the air around you to just cut the fibers? You could potentially do it from enough distance that any self homing device can't locate you.
Fibers are a small target sure but that also means you'd only have to melt them slightly so that it breaks. These things are thin and fragile. The fiber is built to transmit light but only from the inside. Surely you could deliver enough heat to break them very very quickly.
You could also just hit FPV itself with the laser but this may be a secondary/persistent use.
