I get your point but I can also understand that they have a community that supports eachother, they have pride, they keep going in the face of this annihilation because of their pride. They keep having kids to -- for lack of a better word -- replace the ones that died from Israel's effort to exterminate them. They know this and they keep doing it because they think its righteous and want their people to persevere. Because why should they leave? It's their land, they've lived in it far longer than the jews have even in antiquity. And Ashkenazi jews have NEVER lived there, until now.
