Basing it off how last air ride was, yes, expecting a wide range of characters that go beyond more major named cast like Gooey, Meta Knight, DeDeDe; expecting Joe over more recent critical characters was less than expected since it Air ride wasn't exactly known for some big roster and the non Kirbys you could play were locked to their own unique rides & not allowed the copy feature.
