Now, it is POSSIBLE that the english VA cast were invited back after the game became successful again and it got turned down, but the interview with whichever VA it was implied that the parent company of her talent agency was the one who turned it down, and not the VAs themselves.
Hell, if you just go listen to some of those old english performances, you can FEEL that Marian's VA would have gladly done it.
