I'm not an expert or anything but according to the FBI this rifle is the one that dweeb patsy used to kill Charlie Kirk. They really thing we are stupid don't they? Look at how the scope is mounted!

I got distracted when doing a once over on this pic.
>Optic too far back. alluding to:
-shorter arms
-self mounted (red circle under front of optic)
-scared of recoil/weaker/likes to keep head back
-possible 3-9x Big box store optic, not familiar (you can kinda see an integrated throw rod set to what looks like 7x and a faint ring on the front of the scope. Not yellow enough for leupold)
-Upon further reflection: If the scope was mounted further forward, the bolt wouldn't be able to be unlocked and pulled to the rear properly due to the Optic. Explains the riding of the front optic mount
>Stock and other thoughts
-I'm guessing aftermarket
-scope rings rather than a rail or cantilever due to top loading
-Optic placement still would interfere with racking another round quickly, so they would've MADE SURE that was sighted in properly. I'm guessing there enough space out in Utah to do that without many people even knowing, even when needing 100-200 yards.
>I can tell you most indoor ranges don't allow 30-06,
>BUT this person likely has more than one gun and would likely use a local range prior to deciding to kill Charlie. Gun store employees would remember a twink tranny/lefty.
>If you're local to the area, not a bad idea to bring in a picture and ask if they've seen this person in the last couple months asking to shoot a 30-06. (after deciding to kill Charlie they would've stopped going to avoid backtracing)
-Trigger guard is a big tell that it was from an older model
-No sling = Definitely a commie that poses with it when going to range day with the homies...not carries it through the badlands
