They practically own that definition.
You are more along the classification of "financially independent". Financially independent people don't have to work, they choose to if they wish. And they are not at risk of poverty and desolation, should circumstances change, nor are they incapable of supporting a family.

The true NEET is a pitiable creature, but almost always, his plight is of his own making.
