He particularly deserved it. The only thing is that the killer didn't have this just motivation for killing him. This killing is like an enemy general being killed by a crackhead on the sidewalk while he's home on leave. No real loss, but no honor; or in this case justice. Charlie deserved to hang, and it's too bad Whites won't have the chance to tie that rope.
