>From what I've gathered reading your posts you're quite happy with the current system,
No, I dislike the extreme wealth inequality that exists in today's world, the constant pollution, the unnecessary suffering caused by many people because they are brainwashed by the rich to do their bidding, etc.
But I'm realistic in that in developed countries most people have everything they need, and I don't lack anything necessary in my life.
Something I express that you consider me being happy with the current system is that I defend immigrants.
I'd love if migrants didn't need to migrate to have a decent living, I'd love if third world countries weren't being wrecked by climate change, but that's not the reality of today's world so I think it makes sense for people to migrate from poor countries to rich countries and I'm not going to blame poor people for making the same choice I would make, nor generalize all migrants as criminals because they commit more crimes.
>even complicit in it,
How am I complicit in it? I'm as complicit as every other worker who has no other option but to live in this system, if there was a party with real chances of changing thes system I'd vote for it, in the meanwhile I'm going to vote for parties that improve my life in this system, like Sumar that is trying to lower working hours.
>so I don't think you're far left at all.
I'm between Democratic Socialism and Social-democracy depending how I am feeling at the time.
>Well, not like left and right mean anything when they're two sides of the same shaved-off coin.
I mean, to a certain degree most if not all mainstream parties are going to defend the interest of the capital but choosing one over other can make genuine differences in the living standard of poor people, for example the aforementioned lowering of the working hours.
