I hope it lives up to that so called "Epic Yarn spiritual successor" comment I read about it, but I think I'll be asking too much, specially since I'm playing the 3DS version.

Never had a solid relationship with Yoshi Games myself, to be honest. I adore Touch n' Go in virtue of it being a childhood classic to me and very fun too, as well Yoshi's Island for being a solid experience overall (and making me cry like a little girl at the very end) despite not being among my favorite Mario games... Then you have Yoshi's Story which I thought it was the prime example on why I have a physical aversion to the N64 in general and Yoshi's Island DS being just a mediocre version of Yoshi's Island.
