Hey guys, it's me, the guy who wanted to make a new 3D Wario spin-off, among other things.
I just wanted to say that i am sorry for coming here to spread my ideas and give false hope.
I now know that i should give up on such ideas that were honestly holding me back from my own creativity and i shouldn't be working with companies who i have now become disillusioned with.
Thanks to an Aon on /v/ i have decided to rework the idea into something new, iot was crazy of me to think Nintedno would want anything like that anyway.
So again i am sorry for pushing my ideas on you guys in multiple threads, i know it might not seem that big of a deal but it is still something i feel i should apologize for.
I hope that we're able to have fun here anyway.

Well ever since i was a kid i have had a fascination with motherly characters, when i first played Mario Galaxy and seen Rosalina i was in a state of wonder, not only was there a new Mario princess but one so warm, soft and motherly, i didn't realize the feeling when i was that young though, it was only recently that i realized that i have this strong feeling for motherly characters due to what i admit to be, for lack of a better term, mommy issues.
Romance was also very important thing to me as a kid and still is, since i was young romance would always give me a strange warm and fuzzy feeling that i was embarrassed by when i was younger, but as i got older i started to embrace it and wanted to create romance stories of my own and wanted to give romance to characters who i felt needed it.
Rosalina is one of those characters as i always thought to myself "Peach has Mario, Daisy has Luigi, why doesn't Rosalina have a boyfriend?" so i thought of what kind of man would be best suited for her. I remember bringing the idea up on Miiverse but i got mocked for it.
It wasn't until much later in the early 2020s that i wanted to revisit my love for Wario, my favorite character in the Mario universe as i relate to him the most, and i started brainstorming ideas for a 3D Wario Land game, like Wario's version of Odyssey.
I knew i had to create a new character to act as a rival to Wario, his own antithesis, giving Wario his own Wario, so i decided to create a man who would act as the opposite side of the same coin to Wario, a tall, handsome and charming young man who's a bad boy thief out to outdo Wario.

It wasn't until i decided to make the game's themes time travel, as a parallel to Mario's space adventure, that i decided to have a character who could act as the game's guide in the hub world like Rosalina in Galaxy, a "Wa" version of Rosalina, that's when i decided to add this role onto the rival character i created as he managed to fit perfectly and i reworked him a little to be the "Wa" Rosalina.

I just read it and i gotta say that i agree, to an extent.
While she should have more appearances, the problem is that Nintendo does not know how to handle her, but it's not the fault of the character herself.
I especially agree with the second point. A big reason why i wanted to create the Wario game is to give Rosalina a new character who she can work off of and have more interactions with, give her something new as apart of her life an further connect the Mario and Wario sides of the universe.

Everyone defaults to her backstory, but outside of it she's just as flat as anyone else.
Her whole thing minus story, was being serious and speaking vaguely. She compliments Mario's name once and the dynamic ends there.
You can even tell Nintendo had no idea where to go with her personality and ended up throwing it away in spinoff games.
Shame because Mario Golf: World Tour shows that she can at least have her cool (and rarely funny) portrayal without looking jarring.

I think the dichotomy between Daisy and Rosalina is kind of interesting because the former had nothing to go off of in her debut game (aside from the vague "tomboyish" descriptor) but is generally agreed to have evolved to be more interesting in spin-off material, whereas for Rosalina the sentiment is the opposite, and her spinoff appearances have been perceived as a detriment to her character.

With Daisy she hasn't really evolved after loud Daisy in the spin offs. It just seems like there was more because she was originally a Peach clone. They could have easily pivoted to Daisy for Mario for good and give her the same personality that Peach developed.
As for Rosalina, she got everything in the Galaxies so she didn't need to be changed in the spin offs and so she had a more static transition. It's all down to the treatment they got in their original games.

Oh yeah i remember that. Well a character can have multiple rivals, especially Wario due to his career in thieving would open up opportunities for all sorts of rivals, to me the time lord would be a more antagonistic rival than Syrup has become, like K. Rool or King Boo of the Wario adventures.

I agree with you on that but only because Rosalina has been so isolated that she has no clear relations to any of the characters outside of Mario, Peach, Bowser and maybe Luigi.

Have fun, but don't expect so much from it gameplay-wise. It's a pretty basic platformer, entertaining for all it's worth and it's one of those games that feel they were put a lot of love into... but basic nonetheless.
Also do yourself a favor and purchase Poundbrella and Floatbrella as early as the end of World 1, those two come in handy for the rest of the game.

Maybe you get some overt references to something that happened but that doesn't mean everything that happened then happened in the setting of this new game. Think of it like the Epic Cycle.

So the stories of Odysseus predate the poet Homer by hundreds of years. What The Odyssey does is codify the events and the relation of events to each other. The individual stories of Odysseus, say, blinding the giant or getting tied to the mast so he could hear the siren's call while his men plugged their ears etc. etc. Those were all stories that had inherent contradictions that got codified in the Odyssey.

Another example would be the Bible. The Council of Nicaea codified the Catholic Bible, but there were books which early christians believed should be canonical that didn't make it (Gospel of Thomas), and books that made it into canon that Christians at the time didn't believe should (Revelation of John) and books that WERE codified that were later removed (Apocalypse of Peter, Epistle of Barnabas). The interpretation of a collection of work is not always going to be inerrant. Hell, the four canonical gospels can't seem to agree on how many people visited Jesus' tomb or what happened to the two men crucified with JEsus, if they were even there. John just makes up shit like a Zombie apocalypse that you'd think Mark, the oldest gospel, would have remarked upon, and that's because these are all different interpretations of the same stories, and like how there are irreconcilable differences there, so too are there in Mario, or Marvel, or Star Wars or any multi media franchise that runs for decades and has hundreds of creators involved.

All of the Mario Karts on NSO are constrained by no random matchmaking so I doubt it would do that much. Saying that, it does feel like Nintendo is going to wait a couple of years.
