Anon, you have two choices of how we talk about this
1) Insincerely: is it historical?
If I remember correctly it depicts Africans and Chinese going over the top in perfect diversity which is quite rare, whether you look at written documents or photography. You either have ethnic blocs or a very rare French group of soldiers with one different ethnicity from the empire.
The Foreign Legion was and probably still is infamous for recruiting soldiers who don't want to go back to their homeland for the reason that they're a bad person. "That's where the black people served!" should be criticised ceaselessly.
All powers in WWI used their soldiers as cannon fodder. The French were one of the more disturbing powers in this regard, including in executions. The old left wing position is such:
>African soldiers were sent to die more than white soldiers
>some African soldiers were tribals who didn't know what guns were
This is in contradiction to the modern left, which is to celebrate current diversity and point to historic diversity to excuse it, when said historic diversity was abuse, neglect and oppression. Relatedly the game doesn't actually represent how oppressive nations became to its common people.
Oh and furthermore, I doubt the French taught any African soldiers about Geneva and its conventions, or that when someone surrenders, maybe don't kill him.
And finally, I think a rounding error in the French army isn't worth taking up an entire loading screen in the game, unless you wish to argue that France is black.
2) Sincerely: do you agree with Paradox's nigger worship?
Yes/No, your decision
