While this was the first after a week long heatwave (hence why it looks bad as they are just rough sketches), I am SERIOUSLY struggling with how to draw eyes.

Well, rather I just don't know how to construct them in perspective. 1. I struggle with knowing what eye to start with first, if I start with the right one (right side of screen), then I struggle with the left one because I can't clearly see the right eye and rotate/flip that shape shape in my head. and 2. I just don't really know how to avoid making them look like Symbols...I try to curve the lines so they are wrapping around a sphere but even then that's very difficult for me.

Anyone got any good tips? I am gonna keep drawing for the rest of the week (more studies like this one) but I feel my progress is stagnating and I am probably just prone to rushing shit too much.
