Most people are cowards and not used to pain. If you can target and hurt someone they will disengage and you can focus on other targets. I've fought about a half dozen 2v1's and won a 3v1, its the tactic I've used.

I know I don't. I came to the conclusion early on that other people care about me more than I care about them. I am trying to work on this because I realize that even with my damn-near perfect life, I still got problems other people still take time and resources out of their life to be helpful to myself and others and that shames my ego and encourages me to be more Christ-like.
