Just make them control like humans/humanoids and give them super agility and boosters. That's it. You made a fucking humanoid robot why are you not making it fight like a humanoid. It's that simple. They either make them attack helicopters, fighter jets, tanks or hovertanks. WHY? None of these make use of the humanoid body to make cool and practical fights. We have years of media with humans with super powers and agility, and even humans with robot parts and boosters doing super cool shit and they can't figure it out. We have tons of games with superhumans/humanoids that fight with agility, heavy weapons and cool dodges and they can't fucking figure it out. Don't make them slow. Don't give them permaflight. Make them use their god damn bodies and a variety of weapons we have made in human history in cool ways.
People are entranced by evangelion and everyone acts like they have no idea why the action in EVA is really good when its as simple as "the robots are tokusatsu/ultraman so their fights look really cool". Oh my fucking god why is everyone so fucking stupid.
