Its funny how /v/ seethes at this game when there is really no other metroidvania game they can list thats better despite them yelling BABYS FIRST METROIDVANIA

Hollow Knight has challenge, good bosses, actual exploration that gives you choices on where to go instead of the illusion of exploration, secrets that reward fun content, amazing music/atmosphere, the path of pain and A FUCK TON OF CONTENT

/v/ will seethe and say super metroid and SOTN like normalfags but super metroid is painfully short/linear and SOTN is painfully easy and the reverse castle is padding to bring up the game time. /v/ will bringup ninesols but the only thing it has thats better is MUH STORY MUH STORY which…who fucking cares? I want a better game not a movie. The rest of metroidvanias do not even compare to the top ones
