The older one you can zoom in up to 800% and the new one in Animate only up to 200%. I fucking hate typing in the amount I want SO MUCH. You can ctrl+ zoom in with the middle mouse wheel but I am usually using my tablet pen to draw so it's just really super annoying there's no way to set this back to how it should be!
