yes, i enjoy those. certainly there must be a wide "spectrum" to racism. very difficult to have a good working definition. i would probably describe myself as a "racialist", but thats also a stretch. i just understand that one's broad race, and sometimes specific ethnic group is a uniform that one cannot discard. it is an intrinsic part of one's self. and of course, it has a certain biological component. jury's out on the degree of that component, but to say something like "race is just skin deep" is just about the most retarded thing i've ever heard, ya know?
i just live in reality. that's all. it is not an emotional thing or an identity thing. perhaps it has something to do with living in the semi-rural South for my whole life. i would probably have a different outlook if i grew up in say, Memphis or Birmingham.
