Why do some black people always say that black American culture is so cool and everyone wants to steal from it when in my opinion American black culture is cringe?
Alot of it is saying stuff white people have been saying but translating it to aave (bet orbiting=simping, sex tourism=passport bros) and alot is just just cringe low iq tuff guy stuff. Also I don't think us whites still that much from it since wannabe black whites are a minority of white people and the vast majority of us don't wear black stuff (hoop earrings, durags, bonnets) or use aave unless it is a word hear and there when it is trending

Apparently there are some parts of black American culture that isn't completely harmful or cringe. Jazz was pretty popular at some point and some words that were more commonly used amongst black people got picked up by white people. "Based" is a decent example of this. It's an exaggeration to say American culture wouldn't exist without black Americans, but I think black Americans did produce some things that even non black people thought were pretty cool.
