I'm 38. Started drinking at 14, with my buddies in high school. Fun drinking turned to problem drinking when I lost my dad at 16, and was sent to live with an alcoholic mother, who didn't care if I did the same to myself.
Drinking snowballed until I drove drunk one night (like an asshole) after finding out the chick I was dating was cheating on me, and crashed my truck. Got a TBI, and almost died.
